Ruta Sepetys was born on November 19 1968. (She is 45 years old) She was born and raised in Michigan. Ruta is a New York Times bestsellers author. Ruta is a daughter of a Lithuanian refuge. She wrote the book" Between Shades of Gray" because in a way the main story line kind of relates to her.
